അവരുടെ മനസ്സില്‍ വിഗ്രഹാരാധന എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഏതെങ്കിലും മനുഷ്യന്‍റെയോ മൃഗത്തിന്‍റെയോ രൂപത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന പ്രതിമയുടെ മുന്നില്‍ വീണു നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നതും അതിനോട് പ്രാര്‍ഥിക്കുന്നതും മാത്രമാണ്. അങ്ങനെ വിചാരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ഇതൊന്നും വിഗ്രഹാരാധനയായി അവര്‍ക്ക് തോന്നില്ല.
